Return of the coffee filter!

I really enjoy painting these scrunched up coffee filters.

Here's a bread bowl.

A super quick self-portrait

This week's challenge was video games! Daisy, the ice climbers, and Samus in her zero suit are my favorite characters from Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I also found some figure studies I did for school over the summer that I never posted.

Enjoy the rest of your break, friends. Fall semester starts next week!

Smile salior

Summer school is finally over!

This calls for a Stephen King movie marathon and some ice cream.

...

Here are some studies I did for my Personal Vision class

I painted these two with acrylics

I ended up doing only three pieces instead of the five I initially wanted to do for the Love/Fear series.
Again, these are based on the quote: "All that is not love is only fear"

"Love"
This piece represents all forms of love, not just the romantic variety.

For a while this piece looked Fauvist, which I thought was awesome. I really enjoyed taking Cubism to Contemporary Art History this summer.

"Poison"
This piece represents the breaking point where love dies and turns into some form of fear.

"Fear"
This piece represents all forms of fear.

Finally, here is a quick acrylic painting of Poison Ivy I did for a challenge group some of my friends from school put together. I'm a little behind on these, but now that school is over I have plenty of time to catch up!
